From then on in, me and Sonny started makin' records. My first records, Sonny was backin' me up. Sonny wasn't singin' natural at the time; he was singin' falsetto - Brownie McGhee

Well done, Phil. On top of hitting all the right licks, it really captures the spirit of the piece--the Rev's spirit--from within the soul.

Love 'em both. Shake 'em on Down, or whatever you're calling it, really captures that Delta string band feel, like the Sheiks, in a way you just don't get much these days.
And it's really cool to see Frank, to whom I'm eternally grateful for explaining how to do a thumb-over F shape in a long-ago email exchange. Thanks all and a special thanks to Mrs. Saltmarsh Bill who I think was the videographer of the two videos. Saltmarsh came up and participated in one number as well.Weenies are everywhere! Now all we need is a secret handshake.

Despite some shaky moments, both in my chair and the camerawoman's, Mr. O'Muck was able to perform an excellent Diving Duck. jopoke
Man, I have to move to the northeast, so I can see these shows live. Great performances!
Thanks, Joe slideaway
that diving duck is a ripper! you do a nice sleepy john estes Mr O'Muck, that style of harp playing really sets it off too, thanks for posting all these, fantastic
I see I have been remiss in neglecting to praise the stupendous harmonica work of Joe Bellulovich at last evenings performance. He did two solo pieces that were incredible! Also the sheer pleasure of having Frank & Kim join in on a few numbers was just wonderful. Listening to them play along was a terrific experience really. Frank's guitar work is so much the real deal old Blues sound that it enhanced my own playing a great deal and the texture and sound of Kim's playing was equally wonderfu. The harmonica & fiddle together is a sho-nuff lonesome sound. So thanks guys!
Hell Yeah!!! Great job everyone, sounds like a brass band coming down the road.
I'll make it to one of these gigs soon. Mike Saltmarsh Bill
Bonus video: Joe Bellulovich and Pat Conte playing two numbers at their Good Coffeehouse performance, Sept. 30, 2011.
