yep = thanks for the gas in my stove and the electricity in my wall sockets, the food in my belly and the blues in my soul.  :)

Happy Thanksgiving, y'all.

I'm thankful for people who have mysterious interest in music made in the rural south in the 1920s and 1930s.

Happy Thanksgiving to all and let me say how very thankful I am for this site and all the fine people I've met or connected with through its being here.

Dang, the Weber got away from me and I somewhat singed the bird on the rotisserie. It was a good day in the Texas hill country, played some music, fed 10 family & friends, everyone seemed to have a good time. I was exhausted by midnight.

Kudos to the Weber rotisserie electric motor, the bird was at the outer limit at 18.5 pounds, I had to improvise counterweighting the spit using a couple of vise grips. The carcass is currently stewing-down nicely for soup stock.
