OK price P D--
They go for about 2500-2750 US dollars in the states; though one sold two weeks ago on e-bay for $1200 (1960s vintage and probably needed a small amount of work).
You do know they were designed to be tuned 3 half-steps higher than a standard guitar, right?
But, to quote the Duke (Ellington, not Windsor), "if it sounds good it IS good."

best,
bruce

I think it is what would be called a Terz guitar.  Personally I don't think that they sound very good tuned like a normal guitar.

Hi all,
I've often wondered if Henry Thomas played a guitar of this type, if not this particular model.  It would explain why he's always pitched so high.
All best,
Johnm

Johnm poses a great question. In the only photo I have seen, it looks more like an O.S. product to me, but the photo was rather grainy IIRC. Anyone have a copy for posterity?

As an afterthought, I believe Marty Robbins played a Terz size.
