Here's an attempt on another difficult but fun tune.... I think this was the first Blake tune I fell in love with lots of years ago.

Cool, a real pleasure to hear that relaxed Blake rhythm done well. Record some more!
Gordon wow, great job, congratulation. It takes a lot of work to play and sing this so well.
Mike Nice! Black Dog is a B.B.favorite.
Enjoyable selection of songs there on YouTube as well. Thanks LB
Not only well played and sang, but excellent tone and something rare, solid slow peaceful pace. Not rushed... damned fine. Kind of stuff I enjoy listening to.
Tasty and tasteful. Thanks for sharing. Mr. Blake would approve.

Fabulous! I really enjoyed that. I love Blind Blake and you really do him justice.

I just realized this thread is over 2 1/2 years old. Funny how a thread like this keeps getting bumped up. I'll have to pay more attention in the future.
Great playing though! Greg Here's an attempt on another difficult but fun tune.... I think this was the first Blake tune I fell in love with lots of years ago. Really nice job and thanks for opening my eyes on a problem I always had trying to work this out off the record at normal speed, (I don't have one of those slow downer thingos). First were the bass notes in the first part of the verse and more importantly to go to a G7 instead of D7 after the run down to A7. Also the begiining of the intro you showed is the same as the opening part of the intro to Hey Hey Daddy Blues and I hadn't made the connection before. Basically you have nailed it shut. It is amazing how many variations he had for his song intros, Blake is the master of cool intros
