I've been sick with the flu, then I had pneumonia on both sides... that was two weeks before Christmas, but now, all the blues I've been playin', think I'll give y'all a couple of church numbers. I ain't never through with the blues yet, but you know, I gotta get well first before I play too many blues. Church songs now, cause, you know, I might die... - Furry Lewis, 1969, from Fourth & Beale, Lucky Seven CD9202

Sorry if this has been done before but would love to find some like minded musicians for some pick-arounds.

I am in Hurricane, West Virginia.  Half-way between Charleston and Huntington.

Actually, it would be cool if more folks would post their locations on their profiles. But this is a good idea, too. I live in Oakland, CA and would love to find others in the Bay Area, or Northern CA, that I don't know about.

All for now.

I agree. I often wonder if there are any Weenies I "talk" to who live in my back yard. I'm in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, on Lake Michigan between Milwaukee and Green Bay. Any Weenies nearby?

You sure have some DISTANCE over there in the States.  And with unleaded petrol being about $11 - 12/gallon here we have another reason for not wandering far.

I'm currently in the Washington DC area, on the beltway of Northern Virginia. I am however thinking about moving to the Portland Oregon area sometime in the fall.

I'm just south of Hartford, Connecticut.

I am anxiously anticipating attending Guitar Intensives workshop in August.

Guitar Intensive is held in Bar Harbor Maine.

Local gas prices of $3.80 a gallon have taken some of the excitement out of the 7 hour drive.

I'm in Fort Worth, and would love to meet up with people in the North Texas area for a jam.

Although nothing wrong with a thread like this, of course, since it specifically includes people's posts about looking for someone to play tunes with etc.
