Easy rider blues by Texas Alexander
« on: April 01, 2018, 11:52:03 AM »
Hi, I'm new here!

In my youth I listened a lot to country blues and played some guitar too. I still do, but not quite as much for many decades now, as I've turned more to my own norwegian folk music.

But I've got a question:
Who plays guitar for Texas Alexander on Easy Rider blues?

You can read about the discography, and cop the lyrics here:

It's always a good bet to search for a song on the artist's lyric thread, either on the forum or weeniepedia. Likely someone, usually Johnm, will have added the discography.

Hei Salve

I think this is what you're looking for:

Willie Reed and Carl Davis on guitars.

Jorn,
The link that waxwing provided gave that same information on Texas Alexander's accompanists.
All best,

Thank you Wax, J?rn and John.
Willie Reed and Carl Davis are new names to me!

I don't find more recordings of Carl Davis on YouTube, but I find Willie Reed. The other recordings of him there sounds quite different to me. Not as tight and in tune etc. as on Easy Rider (?)
