Let the Mermaids Flirt With Me
« on: September 20, 2012, 08:39:16 AM »
here's me playing MJ Hurt's 'Mermaids'. While wearing a pair of quite comedy sunglasses in my kitchen. (well, I say John Hurt's mermaids, I don't actually play it in same position and it's kind of jazzy but still...)

In A, standard tuning, though I'm tuned down a semitone. My new Guild Jumbo seems to sound so much better tuned a bit flat, to E flat rather than E. Just sings more, everything sounds more resonant.

Anyway, I still need to practice it a bit more, have a few extra little riffs and details I'd like to add in, need to improve the guitar solo verse too. But, hey, constructive criticisms are very welcome indeed.

Hey Matt, I think you forgot to post a link to your mp3 or video?  At least I can't seem to find one!
