week with HENRY TOWNSEND - a good listen to the St. Louis musical icon, as well as
cuts from John Cephas and Phil Wiggins, John Jackson, and Etta Baker from the first
Country Blues Festival in 1993.

Yo Lindy!  As an FYI, KPTZ recently lost its archive site - so recent shows that have been archived are unavailable, at least until they find a new vendor.


And to y'all statesiders:  VOTE EARLY! Mail it in or carry it in to a dropbox, polling place or an election administrator's offce.  Do it BEFORE Election Day; your state may require the mail-in ballot to be received at 5pm - but your polling place workers may not bring it in until after the deadline.


With apologies to international Weenies for the various crises caused by our fear-mongering Piddle-Target-in-Chief, rest assured that we're working night and day to get him into the jailhouse sooner than later.

Wow! look what I just ran across. Henry Townsend's personal address and phone number written by his own hand, given to me after the first Port Townsend Blues Festival at which we both performed.
