Kelly Joe Phelps died on May 31st. He was only 62. I got to see him perform several times. RIP.

That's awful news. I know he struggled with depression for years. I don't know the cause of death though.
"Lead me on" is such a great record.

I booked him some years ago to play in my home town. As well as the magnificent musician we all knew he was, he also proved to be a lovely man.

This is sad news indeed.
