The St. Louis Blues of Walter Davis
« on: January 20, 2022, 07:04:08 AM »
I just got an email from Guido van Rijn announcing publication of his book The St. Louis Blues of Walter Davis.  I don't know anything about it other than what's available here: https://agramblues.com/the-st-louis-blues-of-walter-davis/.  I imagine it's a lot like his Smokey Hogg book - as much biographical information as can be dug up, some musical analysis, and transcription and analysis of most of his lyrics.

Cool, he told me he was writing the book about six months ago. Glad to see it published now.
