Arhoolie has a new book and CD set coming out called Hear Me Howling! Blues, Ballads and Beyond, as Recorded by the San Francisco Bay by Chris Strachwitz in the 1960s. Which is a mouthful of a title. Book with 4 CDs, including what looks like a significant amount of unreleased material, with tracks from Jesse Fuller, Skip James, Rev. Gary Davis and others. Wow, this is quite something! Seems like a must-have set this one. There's an amazing selection of vinyl records at Arhoolie now as well.

Ordered this set just the other day, looking forward to much great listening! They got a great selection of original vinyls at Arhoolie now as well, and an offer of 4 CD's for $20.
