The words was the hardest thing to get and make 'em stick. Sometimes you'd sit down at night and write two or three songs, but they had the same tune to mostly all. That's cool, Phil .. I was impressed that you didn't have to look at the fingerboard to watch for slide positions, but then realized that you were playing into a mirror, because everything's backwards   ;D

I always tell students that you play with your ears, not eyes, especially when sliding.

Just to be absolutely clear, I'm a "subscriber" to Phil's YouTube channel, and have the utmost respect for him. I just liked Richards' "Titanic" anecdote, and saw an opportunity to mention it.
