"When the waitress brought our drinks, I picked up my beer and proposed a toast. 'To John Hammond, for bringing Son to Columbia Records.' Son looked at me for a few seconds and then shook his head. He picked up his bourbon and smiled at me for the first time all day. 'To Robert Johnson, for being dead!'" - Dick Waterman

Stella 12 Conversion
« on: August 10, 2016, 03:09:17 PM »
If anyone's interested in a Stella 12-string, I happened to stop in at Lark Street Music in Teaneck, NJ yesterday on an errand for a friend. Buzz has an absolutely killer large-body Stella that's been converted from six to 12-string. Pick this thing up and play a chord and you'll think you're Leadbelly, if only for a minute. Because it's a conversion, it's very inexpensive for a large-body Stella 12. Decalcomania top and MOTS fingerboard. Even with those visual impediments, if I had the money I'd've bought it.

No connection to the store or the guitar, just thought someone might want to know.
