The blues is a bantering conversation on, for the most part, the subjects of sex, love, anxiety, and travel, that was little different from the idle back-and-forth talk that might have been overheard in a 1930s barrelhouse. - Michael Taft, review of Barrelhouse Words by Stephen Calt

Pre-War Discographies
« on: December 29, 2006, 10:09:21 AM »
This is a heads up more than anything else to say that our fellow Wennie, Stefan Wirz, has obviously decided not to sleep over the Xmas period having added several new "works in progress"  - Buddy Boy Hawkins, Sam Butler/Bo Weevil Jackson, Williams Harris, Clifford Gibson and one devoted to Bruce Bastin's Travelin' Man label. There might be some I've missed but I'll leave those for others to find. :)

Thanks Stefan
