[Bull City] Red pulled his hat down over his eyes and said to her, "Cora Mae [Fuller's wife], I didn't get but one letter from you when I was in Virginia." To which [Blind Boy] Fuller replied, "Well, that was one too many." - Bull City Red, from an article about Richard Trice by David Menconi in the Raleigh [NC] News and Observer, 24Jun98

Fun fact; His birth name was Vivian Chatmon but he changed it to Sam 'cause he thought it sounded too much like woman. I don't believe his claim that he was the half brother of Charley Patton. I gotta keep listening to that 7nd verse. Re-Listening, I really hear "town" and "swear"
Well, now I ain’t gon’ holler, town’s too small, if you don't catch me, woman, swear that's all I hear "swear" now too, Harry, and I do think it sounds more like "town's" than "time's". Good work!
