I'm afraid I can't make it to the weenieweekend as I'm off out of the country. I was hoping to make it to the Friday, but unfortunately I'm flying early from Luton (fortunately not British Airways  :o), which is not particularly convenient so am heading up on Friday night.

Finally, we don't seem to have heard from Natterjack and wonder if he is still out there looking for slimy things under rocks ...

Pretty accurate Richard. Found this last week - Black Snake Moan anyone?  ::)

Sad news indeed Liam. At least when you are there the average age slips below 60 (just). Moreover, what is Scratchy going to do without all those Stellas to play. Perhaps you could drop a couple off? We'd look after them, honest guv.....

Is that a melanistic adder or grass snake?

It's an adder, not completely melanistic but pretty dark, they tend to lighten up after they shed their skin

I'd guess more like a trouser snake    ;D

I'll let you LOOK at my Kalamazoo.

(Don't forget your uke, Prof.! and as you're flying and won't have much space, perhaps you'd better leave the guitar behind. You can always borrow one.)

I'm sure we can sort this out. What flight are you on? The baggage handlers can be bribed to give the b$^%*o extra special treatment - not 5-string but 5-piece.

After much discussion (about 5 milliseconds) the committee has decreed that anyone bringing a uke will be fined 1 round of drinks; a b$%^&o will incur a 2 round penalty.
