The water broke out in the morning time. We could hear it when it broke, just like a 'Boom!' It busted the levee through. And the water was coming. We could hear the river roaring. People was hollering, 'The levee broke! Get ready and get out!' - David Honeyboy Edwards, April 15 1927, from his bio

Vintage Viator unison 12 string

Just got one of these.

https://vintageguitarsrus.com/products/vintage-viator-paul-brett-12-string-electro-acoustic-travel-guitar-natural

It's unison not octave strung.

I intend keeping it in open G tuning.

I paid a lot less than £499 for it!!

Might restring it octave some time.

Very short scale 21.5" - head is almost as long as the body.

Could do with the neck being a bit wider - but my fingers are getting used to the narrow string spacing.

They sound really good - I have almost been tempted myself!
