This is Dennis. I'm taking a film (16mm) show to Europe in April: Really the Blues. It contains films from 1929-1964 and will include performances by Bessie Smith, Billie Holiday, Jimmie Rushing, Sonny Terry and Brownie McGee, Una Mae Carlisle, Louie Jordan and His Tympanee Five, Maurice Rocco, Max Roach, Lester Young and bunch of others. This is not electric blues, but traditional accoustic blues with an emphasis on jazz. Read more about the show at
