Topic: Luthier required in the south East of England

Fellas, I'm tearing my hair out here. I need a luthier who can fix a couple of intonations issues, and clean up or replace a pick guard on previously restored mid-1930's L-00 - not much to ask really! Just don't trust anyone I've checked out so far. Too many enthusiasts - not enough pros anymore.... Any suggestions gratefully received.

Does Dave King still take on this sort of work?  Seems an obvious choice in that general neck of the woods.

Was talking to Dave King a couple of weekends back at a Guitar Show in Haydock Racecourse near St.Helens, Lancashire.  He has a new workshop and is definitely still both repairing instruments and making new ones as well as selling Nationals.

I'd give him a call and talk it over with him.
