Got a fancy new mobile phone last week. It has the android operating system and does most things apart from make toast. The downside for me was that I was no longer getting the 'formatted for mobile phone' version of WC that had delivered a simplified version of 'Unread Topics' to my previous phone. True, I could access the full website, but then I had to zoom in to make the text legible, and navigate through all the pages of a topic to get to the most recent post. Slack to the rescue. He's signed WC up to Tapatalk, a forum reader application for these pesky android phones. It's an 'app' you have to purchase, but it's worth the two quid if you like its convenience. The app lets you view all posts, most recent posts, or the threads you've participated in. You can reply to posts or PM the poster. What it doesn't seem to do is to display the home page editorial content, but then for that you can always go to the full website. So thanks to Slack for making it possible for me to keep in touch with what's going on when out and about.
