Holdin out on me now lol btw very nice patton covers you do on your channel would you consider doing more? I know a few patton songs myself.
Hey, thanks for the kind words. And welcome to Weenie Campbell, Dahblues.
Aside from working up a couple of Charley's lap slide style songs on a single string diddley bow I don't think I'll be sussing out any more of his songs soon. Ya just don't get as much time to work things out when your employed as do when you're on the dole, eh? But I might put up some recent versions of a few of Charley's songs as I've worked out the right hand quite a bit differently since those recorded 5 or 6 years ago. You can see what I mean from the different versions of Down the Dirt Road. That and a couple Henry Thomas songs that I'm working on with quills off a rack is all I'm working on currently, and it goes pretty slow, but maybe I'll feel good enough about them soon. Thanks for asking. Wax Dahblues
Thank ya. And your quit welcome. I get fairly frustrated sometimes with patton songs. You listen to it once and the next time you hear it you hear other hiden notes. I'm glad you brought up down the dirt road licks it's very misleading guitar lick. Just last night i was listening to 34 blues and noticed at around :23 seconds in his lick he plays a quick double pick, in was somethin else. It's so hard to hear some of his stuff.
