It's a Gene Autry gem from 1930 and makes a change from Casey Bill. However on that very subject dj, there is an ulterior motive in posting as this in Bb and I'm playing out of in high bass open F on the diy reso - now, does it sound anything like?
Naturally posted in low-fi to be able to wheel it onto the back porch.

Thank you men, it was done a little tongue in cheek to begin with, I'll work on the bass solo but the yodelling will have to wait.. I'm pleased to say!
Richard - the DIY axe sounds very nice. I have a version of this by Frankie Marvin that includes cornet/trumpet, plus cornet/trumpet mouth sounds from Frankie. Perhaps if you're not willing to yodel, you can try a cornet solo.
You're doing the right thing, Richard. In my opinion, JC is about the best lap slide player there is. Get him to play some flashy Hawaiian stuff (he's sometimes reluctant to play it, commenting that people "aren't interested" [!]).
Hope you're staying long enough to see JC and Angelina in performance at one of their local gigs.

I will do my best, but sadly it's only a day trip to JC as I have other things to do and a jazz gig the next night (Tuesday) in Bristol.. so any weenies who fancy a real ale pub let me know and I'll send instructions.
Unfortunately, Bristol is just a little too far for me. But if you send over a DVD of the performance and a few pints of ale, I'd very much enjoy being a part of the extended audience.
Please note that if the DVD part of the above is too difficult to supply, I could be happy with just the beer.
