I’m probably late to the party but I came across the wonderful Guitar Slim (not that one!).
Some wonderful slide playing, picking and piano.

I knew Guitar Slim. He was quite a character! He was seldom recorded. Another LP on which he was featured is Lonesome Home Blues on the German L+R label. Slim was recorded by Axel Kustner and Ziggy Christman at his home in Greensboro, N.C. in 1980.
