Title: The Earliest Atlanta Bluesmen, 1910-1924
Post by: JasO on December 21, 2010, 07:40:50 AM
I've just posted the the final piece of my six-part series on the Atlanta Bluesmen, which introduces the series and covers the city's earliest bluesmen, from the unrecorded barrellhouse piano players of the 1910s (as remembered by Thomas A. Dorsey) through Ed Andrews' historic 1924 field recordings.

I've had to post the series in reverse, so now everything's up there and in order, if you want to read it from start to finish. Thanks for your patience!
