Richard Drummin
« on: February 10, 2014, 07:36:23 AM »
I have been asked to post these videos of our own Richard (and his band[do they have a name Richard?]) ... It has to go under other musical interests I think. I was to do a review as well but to be honest, I havent a clue what they played, all had French titles is all I seem to remember.

I go again this Tuesday and I may pay more attention  :D

The pub in Bristol was excellent by the way.. you can see evidence of the average clientele in the videos.

As for Richard, I am not too sure what to say. I think he was excellent and as you will see from the first video he doesn't just shout abuse while playing lap slide, he does it while drumming too, a rare talent.

Serously it was great to see him looking so well and his old self

! Private video

Nice one, Richard!  It's really good to see and hear that you are feeling better. Where was the pub?  Doesn't look like your typical Friday night in Broadmead :D

Harvey, your 2nd video says it's private.

Me too! I'm surprised you didn't get Simon on the case.

Most kind people, music should be fun  :)

Same band, same pub tonight all weenies welcome...

And, Phil it's the bloody pianist who speeds up and he freely admits he does it, we are trying to educate him  :o   French is right as the reed player worships old Sid Bechect and it is nice to play a lot of stuff that's even new to me mit the dots!

Lovely. :)  Nice getting the bass player's elbow in the mirror, too!

I am not sure if I should have started a new thread, but as this is the same band posted earlier only with guitars and in particular Richard sliding away on his "tin guitar" according to Andy the nice chap playing his Martin and singing away.

Good fun, we were on a boat btw !
