Hi all,
I have been requested to post a couple of quotes for the quote generator by Peter B. Lowry, so here they are.  The first is from him.

"Music gets one through times of no money better than money gets one through times of no music." Peter B. Lowry

The second is from Jazz saxophonist Lee Konitz:

"There's not much for me to say about my music - I play because it's one of the few things that make sense to me." From Lee Konitz's notes to the album "Motion".

Q: Is the quotes data base available and searchable somewhere? I'm looking for a Mance Lipscomb quote that I've seen in the banner that I can't find anywhere else on the interwebs.

No - eventually it popped up on the banner - it's this one:

I had a look for the original posting to see if there was more attribution. The fact that I couldn't find it indicates it predates the current version of the forum and was posted back when we were on Yahoo Groups or on the original email listserv.
