I will be along with one or possibly two proper musicians.

I ought to say I have a rule only to join in quizzes where the answer to all questions is Mississippi John Hurt.  :)

Good news Scratch.

Good news Davet, sorry to hear you won't be winning the quiz. Pray tell, where are you coming from? Suggest if your two musical followers need a room they had better fix up with the hotel.

Imagine if Colm were to turn up it as well, they'd all be in JH orgasmatron mode, still even that couldn't beat the sound of the massed resonator turnout!

We are coming from East Anglia. All is booked though not at the Webbington. The other two are the guitarists in my band.

It will be good to have some "new blood" at the Euroweenie jamboree and I look forward to meeting you all. Pity you're not staying at the Webbington as Richard has reserved rooms and needs to fill them for us to qualify for the special price...

If your mates play guitars, what about you?

Mike, There's a wealth of information in Weeniepedia under BW McTell.

Hi Parlour Picker

I am just someone who hangs out with bands. :-)

Just checking what sort of kit is ok. The band play mostly electric at low volumes. They have accoustics and one is going to bring a cigarbox.

We're strictly acoustic (no P.A., no dreaded D.I., etc.). Cigar box guitar sounds like fun.

And, while I think of it just for the record (pun) could we have a roll call of who has booked in or is intending to book in?

Richard - We are staying at another hotel because the Webbington only has a couple of rooms suitable for disabled folk and both were already taken.

That's fair enough Dave. What are your mates called?

I appear to have contracted nurovirus, bubonic plague, possibly even phunmonic or from the way I feel all three  :-\

Davet, sorry to hear you had book elsewhere, hope it's not too far. However, I have today checked with the hotel and they tell me they have one room left........ so now is somebody's chance to enjoy the weekend of a lifetime  :-X
