Title: You Had Too Much - James Clem and Mary Flower
Post by: Big River on August 19, 2015, 09:28:35 PM
Here is an audio only track from my new "Road's Gettin' Muddy" CD. Mary Flower and I do a vocal duet on a tune originally recorded by Lonnie Johnson and Clara Smith in 1930. This was recorded live in the studio onto analog tape with Robert Burgeni on stand up bass. You can get the CD at CD Baby and downloads on iTunes or CD Baby and hear song samples as well. Mary and I do another duet on the Carter Family tune "My Dixie Darling" on the disc. Hope you like it.

Samples on CDbaby sound good. Great song selection, always loved that Little Walter song done by John Mayall too on that legendary 66' album.
I'm getting an error on the YouTube video. Maybe cause I'm from Europe?

Nice track, James.

A nice track indeed! I had to get around the ban to see the video here in Germany.

Cheers

Pay attention, Pan!  ;D

James says right at the top it's "audio only".

YouTube and the German copyright organization GEMA don't get along. More and more videos are banned in here. I sometimes use a program called YouTube unblocker to see the videos. Lately it has been unable to open many videos, though. I believe there are other such programs, but downloading them from dubious sources might be somewhat risky.

Cheers
