Zumbido CD Release Concert, Egan's Ballard Jamhouse, 10/2

Hi all,

I'm delighted to announce that our Brazilian trio, Zumbido, featuring Ginny Snowe on vocals and melodica, Joel Litwin on percussion and drums, and John Miller on guitar has come out with a new CD!  We'll be celebrating with a CD Release concert in Seattle and would love to see you there.   Here are the details:

Saturday, October 2
9:00 p.m.
Egan's Ballard Jamhouse
1707 NW Market St.
Ballard
$10 cover
reservations@ballardjamhouse. com

Thanks Pan, for putting that up and thanks Frankie for the good words.  Forro, from the northeast of Brazil, bears some similarities to Zydeco.  It is rocking stuff, and really fun to play, and Ginny definitely gets her jams out!

Excellent video, I had to turn it up. Love the the groove, and the single break really fits and lifts the whole performance. My playing partner (and spouse) has a melodica and I will bet when she sees this it will get more use. Respect for the drummer also.
