I saw Johnny Shines with Robert Lockwood in London many years ago - a two night stint. At the end of the second night, some fool in the audience shouts, "Johnny Shines, you are a sexist!" Shines says, "What?" Guy repeats it. Shines says, "Texas? I don't know nothing about Texas." Collapse of interlocutor - Johnny Shines, by Chris Smith on prewarblues list, Bunker Hill, also present, dates it Sunday 28th October 1979

A & B Blues - Boy Green

I've been going back to some of the tunes in John Miller's Breakdown thread, heard this one by Boy Green and decided I had to dig in and learn it properly. What a great song.
It's still a little way off being 100% natural, but getting there. Hope you enjoy it.

What a cool song to cover, Gordon--there are not a lot of people playing Boy Green's songs!  Your picking sounds really good, and the triplets are crisp, as are the solos.  Living with the song will make the singing and playing simultaneously feel easier.  Good job on a challenging song!
All best,
Johnm
