 Thoughts and prayers to guitar player and teacher extraordinaire, keeper of the flame, Ernie Hawkins and his lovely wife Nancy this holiday season.
This from his Facebook page this morning;
"Tomorrow, Nancy, my much, much loved wife of 15 years comes home from Shadyside hospital to hospice. A year and a half of fighting appendix cancer. She's really been through the mill and we are hoping for some good time together with each other, family, friends, dogs. Thanks, beyond words, to all, for your celestial love care and kindness."

Thanks for letting us know. Like you say, our thoughts and prayers go out to Nancy and Ernie. Obviously, this is a very difficult time for them and there's not a whole lot one can say.

A sad update. Ernie posted on his FB page this evening that Nancy passed last night. R.I.P.
