OK, I'll take up Cheapfeet's challenge (great idea). It's a lot rougher than what I would normally post on the BP but, what the  heck, for the sake of the discussion, lets get them up here.

I'm still having a lot of trouble playing the response lick consistently and also the rhythm of the strumming under the second line. And the vocals are gonna need a lot of work before I really get relaxed and my voice opens up. It was really tough trying to sing over the response lick. Trying to add a couple of the spoken parts may have been a mistake as they kinda threw me, even just thinking about it a line early in the last verse.(big fluff-G-)

But I'm really excited about this as it is my first Patton song. I've worked on it every chance I could get for the last week.

So let's hear what everyone else has got.

You've got that song down.  The playing and singing is just great, and you capture the percussive aspects of the song so nicely. Thanks for sharing that one.

Here's how I see (or rather hear) the guitar part on Patton's record.

This is actually just some  guitar licks, so if you're looking for a song, you might want to skip this one. Only for the die-hard Patton guitar fanatics  .

I don't know the lyrics (hint!) to this song, which of course is the perfect excuse for me to escape the very difficult task of doing the vocals together with the guitar part . I think Waxwing did a wonderful job with it.

The 1st chorus is as I have transcribed it the most accurately as I could. The 2nd chorus is sort of "condensated" variations of the rest of the song. I didn't want to put you through 6 choruses of guitar without vocals

Just my 0,02 euros on the matter...

edited to add: as Chepfeet has ponted out, I have the "tag" or "turnaround" lick here all wrong. I will try to make another recording sometime soon.

Just wanted to say that, as with everything you've posted on the Back Porch, you're doing a wonderfull job here. You have every reason to be proud of your singing voice too.

If I understand your question above correctly, the chord form you are asking is an Eb chord; after shifting the C shape chord up to the 6th fret (capo not counted) to get an F (add9) chord, go down 2 frets to get an Eb chord. You can keep the open G string ringing; in F its "add9", and in Eb it's just the chords 3rd doubled. I think Waxwing mentioned this in his post in the "Licks" dept.

Pan, I was checking it out last night and thinking the same thing. I heard a slight bend in the first set of notes. Will have to come back to this. If he does have it, it will make this lick rather tricky!
