Down the Dirt Road Blues

The last video I will post for this particular 'shoot' - Hope my version can hold water against the many excellent covers of this one posted here and on Youtube.

Recording and watching these videos has been a huge eye-opener for me.  Both to give myself a pat on the back for how far I've come and, more importantly, to identify areas in my playing and singing in the song that need work or at least to be revisited.  I highly recommend doing these yourself (even if you don't feel the desire to share them).

Hey Nick. Really great to see you going after the top tapping and non-opposing right hand through a lot of this. Keep at it.

Thanks so much Simon and Waxwing.

Wax, thanks for starting me on this journey towards figuring out the right hand.  I couldn't really figure out it out until we chatted and I saw your youtube video of DDRB and Jim Lee - it really brought it home for me.  At some point I will dedicate a large chunk of my practice time to getting this down better.  Was going to focus on this in 2015 but then I discovered Bo Carter!
