1940's (?) Kay all mahogany archtop. Very beautiful tortise and black and white binding on the top Here I'm playing a cover of a version of a Bill Broonzy song "When did you leave heaven?" Fairly chunky "V"neck, 1 3/4" nut....

Now that is nice onewily!
Great old song and a very nice sounding box.

Great job, you captured the feel so nicely. Love those Kay deluxe style guitars too. I play this song when my wife comes out to see a show every once in a while. I figure any song she loves must be a great one. I've also found a couple of simple moves in this song that make a big difference in the bass range. Too bad many of us aren't close enough to meet and jam. Keep em coming!

Well I got one of them too , a nice old thing. Not much good for lap, but it's great for visiting musicians  :)

Hey Wily,

My pleasure, you sure don't need my help, but this is how I've been getting this one done in basic form. You'' see the sliding bass move I like to stick in. I also love coming through that D to G change with a kinda Eddie Bowles sound. I guess this is cyber-porch-jamming to some extent! Weenie style....
