Thanks Mike, that explains my irrational fear of UPS trucks! :P

I hope with gold lam? suit and platform shoes...  ;D

Oooh yes, and you'll have to paint those crappy old guitars silver and dangle diamonds from the headstocks.

The Vegas remark was inspired by stories my friend Harold Hagopian was telling me about when his dad, famous Oud player Richard Hagopian was part of a Vegas show called the Cleopatra review for a few years in the sixties. Great pay, fabulous accommodations. I'm thinking...the Country Blues Review... Bales of hay, overalls, live mules, dancing showgirls in checkered gingham dresses....hey ...it could work :P

This reminds me of something I read years ago--I think it was Barry Hansen commenting on John Fahey--that Fahey said 90% of the music/entertainment industry was BS, and therefore one should go straight for the BS and milk it for all that it's worth.

I like it.  :)

Now we know how so many performers of the music we love have gone wrong.
