I find it decidedly weird that, to date, most pictures of blokes playing guitars have attracted in the region of 30 hits, but the view of our hotel over 100! What's that all about??

I would guess that the average viewer looks at a few pics of men playing guitars, but not all of them- so the hits against each picture are spread out.  But theres only one or two pics of the hotel- so every average viewer looks at those.

One can but hope folk are viewing the facilities with possible view to attending next year's Weenie knees-up.

Any audio/visual wonders/monstrosities folks?

We've had National Steel's recording (which was remarkably tight for late on a Saturday night!) but are we near hearing/ seeing some of the other euroweenie goodness?

Slim,

I'll be sharing a video of your opening song on the Friday with you shortly so that you can put on your youtube channel for all to see. I am also aware that Richard is in the midst or editing sound files ahead of posting. Us old folks do have other lives (wives) you know.

Well now, do I detect you have lost your loyalty for your current employer.. you are sure he's not a weenie and reading this  ::)

However, if you are that bored I could send you a cd with all the audio files on  :) Then you could sift your way through 'n' hours of assorted twanging, so just let me have your address.

Failing which and since at times I have no idea who is playing, I think will simply split them up into chronoillogical musical chunks and let those who performed name them.

All in favour???

Richard, I think you should do lots more work  >:D - you could e-mail mp3 tracks to their respective presumed auteurs, who could provide titles, personnel, instrumentation and matrix numbers... which you could then post for posterity.

Meanwhile, some Euroweenie goodness from and for Norfolk Slim... who may be able to provide more details.

And some 'Hawaianish twiddly' bits from National Steel: the Old School, the only song we do by someone who's a) white and b) alive.

A homage to the Memphis Jug Band by Delta Echoes - Richard Scruton & me: Cocaine Habit Blues. Sorry about the background noise - by this time on the Saturday evening certain people were getting a bit raucous...

Here's one from Prof. Scratchy on his sonorous 12-string, in Blind Willie McTell mode: Lord Send Me An Angel.
