Regards Ian http://www.youtube.com/embed/VJpjCrO9Xvs Nice version Monkeyhanger! Like the relaxed palying and vocals. Not sure of the Ramblin' Thomas link though?
Thanks for watching. The singing is not too hard, maybe on the G riff but just picking standard chords on the C and D7.
The Picking pattern was from a lesson by Woody Mann on the playing style of Ramblin Thomas called Ramblin Blues! Not much available of his stuff and quite hard to pick out the little walk ups on the D but apparently his sig lick. Ian sustaireblues
That is really nice Ian!
And I love the clear camera angle, perfect for picking up some clues. I'll be working on this one! Thanks, Joe CF
Sounds more like a Lemony-Blake style . . . but it sounds good, nice work.
I love rearranging some of these old tunes & a nice option besides the note-for-note replication . . . which has its merits as well of course. I like it -- nice and relaxed, smooth. I would just say next time don't point the camera straight at your crotch.
