Hardly the best scan, but your local library might have it in their holdings. Interesting article. A little bit romantic about it all, but hey, it's Harper's, and aren't we all. I didn't know it was a review until 3,000 words in. I will point out though that the bolted meal revelation in Last Kind Words was available on the Weenie site a good four years before the publication of this article, and discussed prior to that in the old Yahoo group.

The author states that 'Last Kind Words' is a duet between Wiley & Thomas which I'm assuming was Fahey's opinion but I don't think I ever heard two guitars. Anyone else?
I've leaned towards one guitar most of the time, although there's something about the sound that suggests the possibility of two, with one playing fairly minimally. The sound over the V chord is a spot where it sort of sounds like two to me at times. And there's a spot at the beginning, at the 0:05 mark, where it sounds like a second guitar.
