What better reason to do something like music than just because you love it? It's really easy, all you gotta do is quit your day job, and alienate your family, and confuse all your friends, and live in squalor for a few years, and you got it - Bruce Molsky

Diddley-Bow - Vintage Hubcap Style - new project
« on: May 04, 2014, 12:50:17 PM »
The new build is ready to play!!  :D
A vintage Volvo hubcap combined with a stainless steel rod makes this all metal Diddley-Bow!!
Parts from a vintage Volvo car PV 544 and other old stuff from the personal scrap-heap, haha!
It'll be a perfect accompaniment for some real old blues..
Just for the fun of it, folks!

This is the top from an old banjo tuner. Works as the nut here..  ;)

The bridge is a tiny little brass screw.. But it works well and it helps the string vibes go through the double layer of metal down to the pickup..

Works great with your old-time voice John.
What's under the hood?

There's just the Piezo pickup under the hood!
