Frank Foster was playing a street concert from the Jazzmobile in Harlem. He called for a blues in B-flat. A young tenor player began to play "out" from the first chorus, playing sounds that had no relationship to the harmonic progression or rhythmic setting. Foster stopped him. "What are you doing?" "Just playing what I feel. "Well, feel something in B-flat, mother****er"

If I don't meet you no more in this world, I'll meet you in the next one so don't be late...
Actually, it would be cool if more folks would post their locations on their profiles. But this is a good idea, too. I live in Oakland, CA and would love to find others in the Bay Area, or Northern CA, that I don't know about.
All for now. John C.

I agree. I often wonder if there are any Weenies I "talk" to who live in my back yard. I'm in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, on Lake Michigan between Milwaukee and Green Bay. Any Weenies nearby?
You sure have some DISTANCE over there in the States. And with unleaded petrol being about $11 - 12/gallon here we have another reason for not wandering far.

I'm currently in the Washington DC area, on the beltway of Northern Virginia. I am however thinking about moving to the Portland Oregon area sometime in the fall.
Although nothing wrong with a thread like this, of course, since it specifically includes people's posts about looking for someone to play tunes with etc.
