I just saw a quote in the Oracle from Muddy Waters' LOC interviews in 1941 & when asked how old he though Son House was the Oracle has him saying 'Son House is ancient . . . he's about 47.' I don't think that's the word Muddy uses (can't seem to find the interv. right now to check) but I think he says 'aged' or ageable' or some other term like that. I'll check back
