Hi folks,
In 1972 I was living in Frankfurt and was lucky enough to see the American Folk Blues Festival when it came to town. I'd recently acquired a Sony portable stereo cassette recorder and managed to take it along (there wasn't much of an embargo on that in those days)! Anyway, the tapes have been gathering dust for 40 years, and I thought it might be nice to share them with those who might appreciate them! I've posted these performances, as well as ones by Memphis Slim and T Bone Walker over at Facebook. I thought the BJW ones would be more apposite here at WC. I hope the links work, and that you enjoy the performances! Apologies for the audience clapping....it would've been churlish of me to ask them to stop!

Not 100% related but...

you know the BJW song "going away won't be back till fall" he recorded a different version of it and I heard it once but I don't know what it's called, any ideas?
