Once again, thank you to all who replied to my recent post regarding hollow-body guitars. Since I now have a tube amp, I'm thinking maybe I ought to go ahead and get a sound hole pickup to experiment with for a while (for my Taylor).
I don't know anything about them, so please feel free to make suggestions as to specific models or share what you know. Kenny (slidnslim) suggested DeArmond. Searching the Musician's Friend site, I see Seymour Duncan, LR Baggs, Martin, Fishman, Dean Markley (but no DeArmond). What things does one need to know/consider when shopping for one of these animals? What are your experiences? And what about neck pickups?
