Topic: Rev. Gary Davis 3-CD Set

Many of you have probably seen the announcement for the sale of this set from Stefan Grossman's website. Most (all?) of the songs were recorded by Ernie Hawkins in his apartment when Rev. Davis was a house guest. Relaxed atmosphere, different tempos than what we're used to hearing, no pressure for making a "perfect" recording for an LP.

I downloaded this set yesterday and am listening to it now. Wonderful stuff, but then I would say that. He's my favourite, most listened to guitar player
