Pan on YouTube
« on: May 08, 2009, 02:45:07 AM »
Hi all.

I finally got around doing a YouTube video, as requested by a small Finnish blues festival ( http://www.kaaviblues.com/english.html ). I must thank the other forum members for all the good advice I got, I don't think I could have made it without your help.

Anyway, here's the video, it's very basic, lo-fi, etc. but shall have to do for now.

Thanks again, everybody! You are great!

Cheers

Pan

Nice pickin', Pan! The new old parlor sounds real nice, even on YouTube.

Thanks guys. :)

I finally just ended up shooting this one with our cheap little digital camera, to get off the hook with the festival.  ;)
The black and white looked actually nicer to me, than the colours.
I think I have to give the matter a little further study, before trying again.  :-X

Nice playing, and pretty nice video for a first attempt!  Now you need a shirt to go with that south seas guitar theme!   ;D   Regards, Tom

Argh! Never ever buy a new guitar unless you want to redo the whole wardrobe as well!  :P

But seriously, a black hawaiian shirt with golden palm motives would be cool!  Thanks for the idea, Tom, I'll have to look into it.  8)

Hi all

I put my Zoom videorecorder on a mic stand at my gig on a Berlin bar last Saturday, to see what it can do. Here's a Blind Boy Fuller tune I did that night:

That was really excellent, Pan.  Your guitar sounds so nice, and singing is perfect! Now I need to go and watch the rest that you put up :)

Great work Pan, particularly love your Pallet on the Floor. :)
