Anyone Here Use A Woven Rope Guitar Strap?
« on: September 28, 2012, 03:17:59 PM »
Does anyone here use a woven rope guitar strap like the one pictured (taken from Ebay) below?  I am thinking of purchasing a couple from Folkway Music http://www.folkwaymusic.com/merchandise/id.4/ or making some out of curtain rope, and would like to know how people go about attaching them to their guitars.  Do you just tie a knotted loop around the headstock and strap button, or is some sort of slip knot or the like used?

Got an old shoestring on the 12, better pick up one of these. I just used a slipknot on the endpin.

Howdy:

I have three of these from eBay guitars I've bought. Tried one once. It hurts your shoulder like Hell.

Modern straps preferred.

I've got 19 women, all I want's one more,
