I don't think the average person can come along and play (the blues), because they don't understand the breaks in it... a guy that makes 'em hisself, he knows where the breaks is - Son House, Frets magazine
Another Charley Patton tune I've dumbed down to my level. Paul Rishell was as big an influence as anyone for me here. I'm tryin' it in Vastapol @ C again, since my voice (and lungs) seem more comfortable there. As far as the right hand, I don't play anything else even close to this, so this is tough to get right for me. This was my 9th take I think. I find it a lot harder to get a clean bottleneck sound on a slow tune like this with minimal bass. But it's comin' along...
