-:
last part of last line is giving me trouble..."nerve to keep me from her door"?

If you notice any other mistakes, please let me know.

Thanks!

Ah it was early one morning mama I was on my way to school
Ah it was early one monring on my way to school
Lord that's when I got the notion to break my mothers rule

Oh the blues falling like showers of rain
Oh the blues falling like showers of rain
I sit here once and a while mama think I hear my baby call my name

Lord I cried last night mama then I cried the whole night long
Cried last night mama then I cried the whole night long
Won't live right mama cried won't have to cry no more

Lord I don't feel welcome pretty mama no place I go
Don't feel welcome pretty mama no place I go
Lord the good woman I love mama done drove me from her door

Stuart:
Hi Tom:

For "hauling like drivers" I hear "falling like showers." However, "blues fell/falling like showers of rain" is a commonlace, so my mind may be filling this one in.

As for ..."nerve to keep me from her door," I can't come up with anything better--or hear anything different.
