Nope, you were right -- death date is correct - so I've added birthrate.  They've apparently revised the year he was born however (1913) - see this wiki entry:

Robert Gordon unearthed the documentation for MW's birthdate of 1913 when researching his biography Can't Be Satisfied (Little Brown 2002). The relevant document is reproduced on page 5 .

The earlier MW biography by Sandra Tooze opens with the words "On Sunday 4 April 1915, a newborn baby..." but that was in 1997 so she can be forgiven for relying upon received wisdom.
