Interesting.

Interesting ideed.  One of the editors, Peter Szego, is well-known in the banjo collector community for his world class 18th and early 19th Century specimens.  Along with Jim Bollman and Eli Kaufman, he founded the annual Banjo Collector's Gathering, which just so happens to meet in Knoxville next month, at which I will be presenting a paper and image gallery on the topic of graphic representations of the banjo in Amerian cartoons and comic strips from 1900 - present.  A little off-topic, admittedly, but I am really looking forward to doing this.
